Add space and style to your Kapiti Coast property with a high-quality aluminium sunroom

Have you ever stared at the sunny spot behind your home and thought what a relaxing spot it could be if not for the racing wind?
Adding an aluminium sunroom gives you the chance to enjoy that spot without the chilly wind. Sunrooms give you extra living, dining or entertaining space that can be used year-round at a most cost-effective price than an extension.
Alfresco Innovations can design, supply and install your aluminium conservatory. Our service begins with a site visit and a quick sketch so you can see what your new sunroom might look like. Then we'll work with our team to supply and install the sunroom in your chosen materials and blend it naturally with your existing property.
Contact Alfresco Innovations to discuss how to make that special addition to your home that makes your living space feel complete, even when the weather has other plans. We work with homeowners across the Kapiti Coast and down to Plimmerton and Porirua.

Alfresco Innovations offers a range of options for your new aluminium sunroom

When you are adding a conservatory or sunroom to an existing home, it is important to decide whether you want the new addition to blend in or stand out.
The wide range of options provided by Alfresco Innovations' aluminium sunrooms allows you to make a choice of materials and colours so you can create a room that suits your style.
  • For the roof and side panels, we recommend Bondor or thermal panels. These are strong, insulated panels which stay cool in summer and warmer in winter allowing you to use the room all year round.
  • For the windows and doors we use either standard joinery or thermally broken joinery which comes in two sections with a barrier between the two reducing heat loss. The joinery can be colour matched to existing joinery at your home - an advantage over PVC sunrooms which only come in one colour.
While we will install glass panels throughout your conservatory if you wish, we don't recommend it. Glass is less practical because it can overheat during summer months, and doesn't retain heat well in the winter. It also gets dirty quickly and creates condensation.
If you do choose glass, options include tinted, UV protected noise-insulated glass and Low-E glass (the highest insulated double-glazing glass).

As a final touch, we can install timber walls on the outside of the sunroom. Adding more variety pleases the eye and blends into the home if you have weatherboards, avoiding a disjointed appearance.
